Privacy policy

How we collect, use, store and delete personal data.

This is an interim notice, not the finished policy. The full policy is with professional review, because this firm processes payroll data on behalf of client companies and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 applies to us directly. A copied template would not be adequate. What follows is a factual account of what this website actually does, which is accurate today.

What this website collects

The enquiry form. Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, an optional email address, your business type and a description of what you need help with. It goes to us so that we can reply. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than answering you.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read and which routes people use to reach us. It records visits and behaviour, not identities.

The calculators collect nothing at all. Every figure typed into the PAYE, food cost or VAT calculator is worked out inside your own browser. Nothing is transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or logged anywhere. You can check that — the page keeps working with your connection cut off.

We do not use advertising or tracking pixels on this site.

What we hold as a firm

Separately from this website, we process personal data belonging to our clients' employees — names, ID numbers, KRA PINs, salaries, SHIF and NSSF records — in order to run payroll. That processing is governed by our engagement with each client, and a data processing agreement forms part of it.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email info@cerulloassociates.co.ke and we will answer.

Registration

Our registration with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, and the certificate, will appear on the data protection page.
