About the role
Manage monthly financial closing, POS revenue reconciliations, supplier payable ledgers, and statutory KRA compliance for multi-outlet hospitality operations.
What you'll do
- Reconcile daily POS transactions across cash, cards, and M-Pesa channels to bank statements
- Prepare monthly management accounts including gross margins by outlet
- Process statutory filings including VAT, eTIMS compliance, PAYE, and tourism levies
- Conduct weekly food and beverage stock variance analyses with operations managers
What we're looking for
- Hands-on accounting experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, or specialized hotel ERP)
- Strict attention to detail and deadline discipline
Useful experience
- Experience auditing eTIMS compliance and hospitality supplier payables
Qualifications
- CPA Part II or CPA-K qualified, or Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Accounting)
